How to Easily Put in Soft Contact Lenses
Inserting and removing your contact lenses takes a little practice and expertise--it's definitely a trial-and-error learning process. Most types of contact lenses use the same method of insertion but there is an easy trick for putting in soft contact lenses. Instead of looking straight ahead to insert your lenses, look down into a mirror. It may take several attempts with this process to get your lenses in, but don't give up -- it will work.Things You'll Need

1
Place a towel on a table or countertop. Put a mirror on the towel. You are going to bend over to look in the mirror, so put it near the edge of the counter.
-
2
Wash your hands and dry them with a lint-free towel. Always wash your hands before handling your contact lenses.
-
3
Remove the right contact lens from the lens case. Place the lens on the tip of your right index finger. Grasp the edge of your upper lashes of your right eye with the middle finger of your left hand. Bend over and tuck your chin down a little toward your chest as you look into the mirror. If you are left-handed, use your left index finger for these steps instead of your right.
-
4
Pull the edge of your bottom lid of your right eye down with the middle finger of your right hand as you continue to hold your upper lid open with your left hand.
-
5
Place the lens onto your eye, look down and slowly release the bottom lid, then the top lid, and close your eye. Do not let go of both lids at the same time or you will pop out the lens.
-
6
Repeat the process with your left lens.
