1
Soak two tea bags in boiling water for at least 1 minute. Chamomile is particularly soothing and has been used for years to reduce puffiness in the body. If you don't have chamomile, you can use any herbal tea.
-
2
Remove the tea bags from the water and place them in the freezer for 3 minutes.
-
3
Place the cool tea bags over both eyes and lie down. Leave the tea bags on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes. The natural herbs and caffeine in the tea, coupled with the cooling sensation from the freezer, will help to get rid of puffy, swollen eyes.

Use eye gel to get rid of puffy swollen eyes. Eye gel is a type of soothing cream that contains aloe vera gel and herbal extracts from sage, nettle and rosemary leaves to help reduce puffiness and swelling. Try Biore ENLIVEN Cooling Eye Gel (see the Resources section below).

5
Apply a dime-sized amount of the eye gel under the eye and on the upper eyelid. Allow the eye gel to absorb into the eye area for about 10 minutes before applying any makeup.

6
Place the eye gel in the freezer for a few minutes, then apply to your eyes for a more soothing effect.
