How to Cure a Stye
A stye is a condition that affects the skin around the eye, usually when the hair follicle on the eyelashes becomes clogged or blocked. 1
Place a pair of flat-edged tweezers on the sides of the stye and apply enough pressure to break the stye open. This typically works if the stye has a white or red "head" on it because it allows any puss to drain out.
-
2
Heat up a teabag in a cup of water in your microwave for 60 seconds. Wring out the excess water and press the teabag against the stye. Keep it there until it cools down and in a few days the stye should reduce in size.

3
Consult your doctor about the stye if it grows larger or becomes quite painful. In some cases, the stye may be caused by an infection and the only way to cure it is to take antibiotics.

4
Buy an antibiotic ointment from your pharmacy or drugstore and apply it on the stye. The ointment should help the stye heal by drawing out the infection.

5
Boil a cup of hot water and add in 1 tsp. of coriander seeds and let the mixture sit for a minute. Dab a clean washcloth into the mixture and rub your eye with the cloth. The coriander seeds can help pull out the infection.

6
Wet a washcloth and place it in the microwave for 60 seconds, until it gets fairly hot. Hold the warm washcloth against the stye until it cools down considerably. Continue doing this several times a day to cure the stye.

7
Peel a potato and grate it into small pieces. Every few hours rub the stye with a handful of the grated potato and you should see some reduction within a couple of days.
