1
Stop the use of all drugs, especially cocaine or those with a cocaine base and marijuana. These drugs are known to affect the mind and vision and can cause your eyes to dilate rapidly while using them. In some cases the eyes will not return to normal until all traces of the drug are outside of the body.
-
2
Take antibiotics that are prescribed by your doctor. Anisocoria can be caused by a number of different treatable diseases as well as bacterial meningitis. Treating the condition with an antibiotic is the first thing a doctor will do and this reduces your chances of developing the condition.

3
Use cortisone shots in your face or the area where you doctor recommends. Cortisone can reduce any swelling that you may have in your brain or brain tissue. When the swelling goes down, the pupils return to their normal size.

4
Buy over the counter pain relievers to take at home when you first notice any signs of Anisocoria. These medications have been shown to reduce the problem until you can see a doctor. In some cases the pills have also treated the problem because it helped reduce any swelling that could cause the condition.

5
Ask your doctor about anticancer or anticonvulsant medications and if they’d work for your situations. Depending on the cause of your Anisocoria and the symptoms you experience, either medication may be able to help.
