Visual impairment

* Loss of central vision (a dark spot or empty space in the center of your vision)

* Loss of peripheral (side) vision

* Difficulty seeing things in low light

* Blurred vision

* Double vision

* Poor color vision

Other symptoms

* Pain in the eye

* Inflammation of the eye

* Drooping of the eyelid

* Changes in the pupil size

* Optic disc pallor (a pale or yellow optic nerve)
