Are blind people afraid of the dark?

Blind people don't experience fear in the way sighted people do, as they have never had the ability to see. For sighted individuals, the dark can be associated with danger or uncertainty since it limits our ability to perceive the environment. However, for blind individuals, the concept of darkness or light does not hold the same significance as it does for sighted people. Darkness does not pose a threat or cause fear in the same way it might for someone who can see.
