Conjunctivitis (Pink eye)

* Caused by a bacterial infection of an oil gland in the eyelid
* Symptoms: Red, swollen, painful bump on the eyelid
Blepharitis
* Caused by a bacterial infection of the eyelid margin
* Symptoms: Redness, swelling, itching, crusting of the eyelid margin
Keratitis
* Caused by a viral or bacterial infection of the cornea (clear outer layer of the eye)
* Symptoms: Pain, redness, swelling, light sensitivity, blurred vision
Endophthalmitis
* Caused by a bacterial or fungal infection of the inside of the eye
* Symptoms: Severe pain, redness, swelling, light sensitivity, blurred vision
Uveitis
* Caused by an inflammatory reaction of the uvea (middle layer of the eye)
* Symptoms: Pain, redness, swelling, light sensitivity, blurred vision
Retinitis
* Caused by a viral or bacterial infection of the retina (light-sensitive layer at the back of the eye)
* Symptoms: Blurred vision, floaters, loss of peripheral vision
Optic neuritis
* Caused by an inflammatory reaction of the optic nerve (nerve that carries visual information from the eye to the brain)
* Symptoms: Pain with eye movement, blurred vision, loss of color vision
Orbital cellulitis
* Caused by a bacterial infection of the tissues surrounding the eye
* Symptoms: Severe pain, redness, swelling, fever, chills
