Instructions

-
1
Put vinyl gloves on your hands. Open up a window and ventilate the room, or work outside.
-
2
Pour a drop of Armour Etch, a glass-etching cream, on the lens. Armour Etch is available at many arts and crafts stores and online. This product should not be used to remove a nonglare coating from glass lenses -- only plastic or polycarbonate lenses.
-
3
Rub the Armour Etch into the lens with your finger or a cotton swab to remove the antiglare coating.
-
4
Rinse the glasses in warm water to remove the Armour Etch residue. Reapply more Armour Etch, and repeat the process of removing the antiglare coating if necessary.
-
5
Dry the eyeglasses with a clean, soft cloth.
