How to Get Fitted Correctly for Eyeglasses
Instructions

1
Locate an optometrist or eyewear retailer in your area. Most retail stores have an optometrist on site, or professionals trained in fitting glasses.
-
2
Ask the optometrist or retailer to measure your bridge and temple size. (Record the numbers for future and online ordering.)
-
3
Look in a mirror to ensure that the glasses sit straight on your face and that they are not crooked. Adjust the nose pads, if necessary, by extending them or pushing them together to sit on your nose comfortably. If you don't have nose pads or the glasses are still crooked, you may need to adjust the temples.
-
4
Adjust the temples by sliding the outer edge of the frame that sits over the ear; this may take a few attempts to correct any crookedness. One ear may be slightly higher than the other; moving the temple piece back or forward on either side of the glasses frame can fix crookedness and adjust your glasses to fit your face.
