  Determine whether the shape of your face is round by looking at yourself in the mirror. A round face has curvilinear lines in proportionate width and length. It is circular and has fuller cheeks and a round chin minus any angles.

  Select rectangular-shaped eye glass frames. Rectangular-shaped spectacles contrast with a round face, give it depth and make it appear longer than it is.

  Match the color of the rectangular frame with your eye color. If you have blue eyes, select a blue frame. Use the frame to accentuate the color of your eyes.

  Determine your skin tone, to match it with the color of the rectangular frame. If you have a very fair complexion, choose eye glass frames in shades of black, blue-gray, rose-brown, plum, magenta, pink, green or blue. If you have a warmer-toned complexion, select eye glasses in shades of khaki, peach, gold, orange, copper, coral, cream, warm blue or deep red.
