Instructions

    • 1

Drink plenty of fluids and abstain from sodium 24 hours before you have your photo taken, as fluid retention also may cause bags to form under the eyes.

    • 2

Sleep at least eight hours the night before you are to have your picture taken. A good night’s sleep can drastically reduce the puffiness under your eyes.

    • 3

Place frozen green tea bags on your eyes and leave them for 10 to 15 minutes, an hour before you have your photo taken. Cold helps to alleviate the swelling and the green tea contains an anti-inflammatory called EGCG, which also helps with swelling reduction. The effect will only last a few hours.

Poke a vitamin E gel tablet with a pin, and squeeze some of the oil onto your finger. Rub it into the skin under your eyes.

    • 5

Use a cosmetic primer, then apply a good concealer that's slightly darker than the skin under the eye bags.

    • 6

Apply a small amount of off-white underneath eye shadow over the eye bags, if you also have dark circles under your eyes. This allows the light from a camera to bounce off that part of the eye, hiding the bags from view.
