How long do people live with nf1?
Most people with NF1 have a normal lifespan and do not experience any significant health problems. However, some people may develop complications, such as learning difficulties, vision problems, hearing loss, seizures, and curvature of the spine. In rare cases, NF1 can lead to cancer, such as malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumors (MPNSTs).
The prognosis for people with NF1 depends on the individual and the severity of their condition. With early diagnosis and proper management, most people with NF1 can live a full and productive life.
