Does a child born to father with xxy chromosomes also inherit the xxy?

A child born to a father with XYY chromosomes will not inherit the XYY chromosome. The XYY chromosome is a rare genetic mutation that occurs when a male has an extra Y chromosome. This does not affect the child's sex or physical characteristics.
