Children in that age range still have immature emotional processes and can exhibit challenging behaviors that don't necessarily signify the complex pattern of traits associated with sociopathy in adulthood. Sociopathy involves deep-seated psychological tendencies that typically become more evident during late adolescence or young adulthood.
