AVOID CERTAIN FOODS - Eliminate foods out of your diet that increase uric acid levels and agitate your gout symptoms. Foods that are high in uric acid are certain animal organs and vegetables.
Avoid animal organs such as kidneys, heart, liver and other animal organs.
Also avoid certain vegetables such as cauliflower, asparagus, broccoli and other foods that increase uric acid.
It is easy to avoid these foods and you should avoid them if you have high uric acid levels, gout or are prone to getting gout or gout symptoms.

AVOID FRUCTOSE - Avoid foods with fructose, high fructose corn syrup and other heavily sweetened foods. Foods high in fructose have a tendency to raise uric acid levels which makes gout worse. Do not eat foods that agitate your gout or increase your uric acid levels.
If your symptoms increase or become more painful contact your doctor or health care provider. Your body is your temple so you should take good care of it which means avoiding things that are bad for you as well as doing things that are good for you every day.

DRINK PLENTY OF WATER - Drink plenty of water every day if you have high uric acid or gout. Drinking at least eight glasses of water every day and more if you weigh more than one hundred and fifty pounds. Do not count other things that you drink as part of your daily water intake. Count only pure water as your water intake.
