Why does your hair get knotted when you tease it?
When you tease hair, you are intentionally creating friction between the strands, which causes the hair cuticles to lift up and catch on each other. In addition, when hair is teased, it can become dry and brittle, adding more tangles. This can cause your hair to become knotted and difficult to comb through. To reduce knotting when teasing hair, try to tease it gently using a wide-toothed comb and use a leave-in conditioner or detangling spray to help smooth the hair cuticle and prevent tangles.
