Why is white hair itchy?

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that white hair is more itchy than other hair colours. Itchiness of the scalp can be caused by various factors such as dry skin, dandruff, scalp conditions like psoriasis or eczema, or allergic reactions to hair products.
