How do you fix over conditioned hair?
Over-conditioned hair can occur when too much conditioner is used, or when conditioner is left in the hair for too long. It can cause the hair to become weighed down, greasy, and limp. To fix over-conditioned hair:
1. Wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo. This will help to remove any excess conditioner and buildup from the hair.
2. Use a leave-in conditioner sparingly. If your hair is still dry after washing, apply a small amount of leave-in conditioner to the ends of your hair.
3. Avoid using conditioner every day. Only condition your hair 2-3 times per week, or as needed.
4. Rinse your hair thoroughly after conditioning. Make sure to rinse all of the conditioner out of your hair before styling it.
5. Use a wide-toothed comb to detangle your hair. This will help to prevent breakage and reduce the risk of over-conditioning.
6. If your hair is still greasy or weighed down, you may need to have it professionally treated. A hairstylist can help you to determine the best course of treatment for your hair.
