1
Purchase pure, unrefined sea salt, found at most health food stores and over the Internet. Processed table salt that is sold in grocery stores contains caking agents and other potentially irritating additives. Read the salt package label to make certain there are no additives or caking agents before buying.

2
Make a sea salt scrub to aid in eliminating hair follicle fungus on your body. Put 3 tbsp. of sea salt into a damp washcloth, and gently massage the area of your body affected by hair follicle fungus. Allow the salt to remain on the affected areas for a few minutes, and then rinse off.

Prepare a sea salt scrub to lessen hair follicle fungus on your scalp. Combine in a small bowl 1 cup of sea salt, 1/2 cup of grape seed oil, 10 drops of grapefruit oil and 10 drops of juniper oil. Massage the mixture into your scalp for up to five minutes, being careful not to rub too hard to keep the salt granules from irritating your skin. Shampoo the mixture out, and add a moisturizing hair conditioner.

4
Soak in a sea salt bath to aid in getting rid of your hair follicle fungus. Fill up a bath with warm water, and add ½ cup of sea salt, 20 drops of tea tree oil and 20 drops of lavender oil. Tea tree oil has powerful anti-fungal properties, and lavender oil is anti-inflammatory and relieves itching skin.
