Hair Loss & Scalp Pimples Remedy

Scalp acne is a type of acne that adversely affects the growth and health of the hair. As with acne on other parts of the body, acne of the scalp is easily treated and eventually hair growth will return to normal.
  1. Medicated Shampoos

    • Wash the hair using an alternating regimen of shampoos containing salicylic acid, ketoconazole and zinc. Wet the hair with lukewarm water before massaging the shampoo into the scalp. Begin at the base of the neck working towards the front of the hair and back down the left and right sides of the head. Rinse the shampoo with lukewarm water from the back of the neck towards the front of the head.

    Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse

    • Rinse the hair with a solution of equal parts apple cider vinegar and lukewarm water. Apply the solution to the scalp by massaging using the same method used during shampooing. Leave the solution in the hair and scalp for five minutes before rinsing with lukewarm water. Using apple cider vinegar and water clears the pores of the scalp and cleans fungus and other causes of acne on the scalp which contribute to hair loss.

    Scalp Massage

    • Massage the scalp each evening before going to bed. Begin at the base of the neck making circular motions up the back of the head, toward the front of the head. Massage in reverse using the pads of your fingers as if you were tapping a pencil on a desk. You should hear a sound similar to that of popping popcorn.
