How to Treat Sinus Headache While on Wellbutrin
Wellbutrin is an anti-depressant medication designed to curb depression, suicidal thoughts, and mood disorders. It is even used in smoking cessation. As with many medications, it is advised not to mix Wellbutrin with alcohol or with certain other medicines. Some substances, such as caffeine, react badly with Wellbutrin, causing the patient to have a seizure. When a patient on Wellbutrin has another ailment, such as a sinus headache, care must be taken in treating it. Fortunately, there are methods of treating headaches that do not involve caffeine or pain inhibitors.Things You'll Need

1
When you feel a headache coming on, try to relax and stretch your face and neck. Headaches typically cause the face and neck muscles to tighten and lock, which results in even more pain. By keeping them as loose as possible, it is easier to treat the remaining headache and the sinuses.

2
Use a massager or vibrator and gently run it over your temples, forehead, neck, shoulders, and anywhere else there is tension. Avoid running it directly across the face unless the device is specifically designed to do so.

3
Using a hot water urn, capture the steam on your face and breathe it in carefully through your nose. If you don't have a hot water urn, heat water in a pan on the stove. The heat helps to further relax the face muscles and the moisture helps soothe the sinus passages which may be excessively dry.

Lay down in a darkened room with a warm, wet washcloth over your eyes and forehead. Take a nap if possible.
