What are Signs of a Light Heart Attack?

A heart attack is when there is a blockage in the heart's arteries and begins to cut off blood circulation to part of the heart. This will then form a blood clot, which will begin to result in a heart attack. It is important that symptoms of a heart attack be dealt with so that the proper care can be taken immediately. Symptoms may begin with feelings of weakness, fatigue, pain, nausea, and pain in the chest.

Angina Pectoris

• Angina Pectoris is when there is a decreased oxygen supply. When someone is having a light heart attack then there is pain on the left side or central part of the chest. He or she may feel as if there is a tight band over the chest and may have difficulty breathing.

Pain

• Pain will be felt in the neck, jaw, or the upper back. There might also be some discomfort in the left hand.

Nausea

• He or she may feel a sense of nausea when experiencing a light heart attack. A choking sensation may also be felt in the throat also.

Sweating and Feelings of Heaviness

• Another symptom of a light heart attack includes sweating and a feeling of heaviness in the upper abdomen.

Weakness

• Someone who is beginning to experience a heart attack may start to feel weak and tire much more easily.
