Symptoms of Circulatory Problems

Circulatory problems include a variety of medical conditions with which you may be diagnosed, and are referred to by doctors as vascular diseases. The symptoms of circulation problems depend on the particular condition that you have and whether you have coexisting medical conditions such as diabetes. According to the Mayo Clinic and the National Library of Medicine, symptoms of circulatory problems include numbness and coldness of your extremities.
  1. Coldness

    • Your hands and feet may be cold, which is an early symptom of circulatory problems that may involve more of your body as the condition progresses.

    Difficulty Breathing

    • You may experience difficulty breathing after physical activity, which is a symptom of circulatory problems that may progress to occurring even while you are resting.

    Numbness

    • You may notice numbness or tingling, especially in your feet and toes, which is a symptom of circulatory problems that can result in injuries and sores on your feet.

    Pain

    • Circulatory problems may cause you to experience pain in your chest as well as in your extremities, especially after physical activity.

    Swelling

    • You may experience swelling in your feet, ankles and lower legs as a result of fluid buildup caused by circulatory problems.

    Weakness

    • Circulatory problems may result in weakness of your muscles, which may cause difficulty with your ability to take care of yourself and perform routine daily activities.
