Where does the myocardium receive its blood supply?

The myocardium receives its blood supply from the coronary arteries. The coronary arteries are two major arteries that branch off from the aorta, the main artery that carries blood from the heart to the rest of the body. The left coronary artery supplies blood to the left side of the heart, while the right coronary artery supplies blood to the right side of the heart. The coronary arteries then branch into smaller arteries that supply blood to the different regions of the myocardium.
