Prilosec OTC can cause chest pain, fast or slow heart rate, irregular heart beats and swelling in the arms and legs. The FDA recommends medical attention if these problems become severe.
Urinary

Urinary tract infections, urination frequency, protein or blood in the urine, testicular pain, glucose in the urine and increased creatinine are possible side effects.

Other side effects are back pain, fever, fatigue, cough, respiratory infections, dry skin, rash, weight gain, increased blood sugar and blood clots.
