Acid Reflux Disease Causes

Acid reflux disease, commonly known as gastroesophogeal reflux disease, can cause you to suffer from heartburn, nausea, vomiting, regurgitation and heart or chest pain. Left untreated, reflux disease can cause ulcers, the formation of scars and stricture in your esophagus, exacerbate asthma symptoms and possibly increase your risk for esophageal cancer. Prompt and proper medical diagnosis and treatment is important.
