- 1/2 cup cabbage
- 1/2 cup broccoli heads
- 2 stalks of celery (including leaves)
- 4 large carrots
- 1-inch slice of fresh ginger root

Cut up your vegetables into portions small enough to fit into your juicer.

Stick the cabbage, broccoli, celery, carrots and ginger into the juicer one at a time. While the cabbage, broccoli and celery are all very alkaline vegetables that will balance your stomach acid and help relieve heartburn, the carrots will sweeten the drink. Cabbage helps to heal ulcers and ginger eliminates gas.

Drink the raw vegetable juice immediately after juicing. Drink a glass of raw vegetable juice every day, as well as keeping vegetables as a large part of your regular daily diet.
