How to Use GERD Home Remedies

Gastro Esophageal Reflux Disease or GERD affects millions of people every year. GERD is often referred to as acid reflux disease because the disease is signified by the rising of gastric acid from the stomach into the esophagus. Symptoms of GERD include heartburn, nausea, and painful burning and pressure in the chest mimicking a heart attack. GERD symptoms are typically most present after eating. However, if left untreated GERD can cause more serious complications. These complications include ulcers in the esophagus, coughing and asthma, inflammation of the larynx, infection in the lungs, and fluid in the sinuses and middle ear. Fortunately there are many treatment options available for the disease. Many of them are completely natural. Here are some home remedies to help you combat the painful symptoms of GERD.

Take one orange peel extract capsule three times a week. In about a month, you should notice GERD symptoms subside.
