Take one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar with a 3/4 glass of water before meals. You can also take aloe vera juice.

Drink fennel tea. Grocery stores usually have fennel seeds that you can use to make fennel tea. All you have to do is boil water and then add the fennel seeds. It is very effective in treating heartburn.

Don't eat dinner two hours before bedtime, eat earlier.

Know which foods give you heartburn and avoid frequent use of these foods which trigger heartburn such as greasy, fried, fatty foods (hamburgers, fries), alcoholic beverages, sodas, coffee, tea, tomatoes, citrus fruits and drinks.
