What happens to the purified blood after it is filter?
After the blood has filtered through the nephrons, it passes through the renal pelvis and ureters to the urinary bladder. From there, the water and waste products are excreted through the urethra as urine, while the filtered and purified blood is returned to the body through the renal veins. The renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system helps regulate the balance of water and electrolytes in the body by influencing blood pressure and renal function.
