Implantation bleeding: This occurs when a fertilized egg implants in the uterine lining. It usually happens 10-14 days after ovulation and can be mistaken for a light period.

Uterine fibroids: These are non-cancerous growths that can form in the uterus. Fibroids can cause bleeding, pelvic pain, and pressure on the bladder or rectum.
Endometriosis: This is a condition in which tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside of the uterus. Endometriosis can cause bleeding, pelvic pain, and infertility.
Cervical polyps: These are non-cancerous growths that can form on the cervix. Cervical polyps can cause bleeding, especially after sex.
