Is hematoma formed on the site of fractures?

Hematoma formation is commonly associated with fractures, but it's not strictly limited to the fracture site. When a bone breaks, the surrounding tissues, including blood vessels, are also damaged, leading to bleeding. This blood accumulates in the area around the fracture and forms a hematoma.
