What is spleenorrhagia?

spleenorrhagia: Hemorrhage from, or within, the spleen. Spleenorrhagia can occur after surgical trauma to the spleen. Spontaneous spleenorrhagia may occur with ruptured splenic abscess, splenic tumors, infarction and with diseases that have a prolonged clotting time.
