1
Increase the amount of fiber in your daily diet. Fiber relieves constipation, diarrhea and promotes regular, healthy bowel movements. The less time you spend making bowel movements, the faster your hemorrhoids will heal. Some good sources of fiber are oats, soy, chick peas and other legumes. All fresh fruits and vegetables will be beneficial.

2
Eat plenty of beets and beet greens. Beets are high in fiber, potassium and antioxidants. Antioxidants will help reduce inflammation and speed up the healing process.
-
3
Soak in a warm bath for 10 to 15 minutes. Make sure the water isn't hot, as this could cause added irritation to the hemorrhoids. Do this up to three times a day until the hemorrhoids have healed.
-
4
Wear loose clothing and cotton underwear. Minimize the contact that any kind of cloth has with the hemorrhoids. Any type of material rubbing against them will cause irritation and slow down the healing process.
-
5
Use moistened pads to clean up after a bowel movement. It is important to pat the area rather than wipe. Wiping will cause irritation and can sometimes lead to bleeding.
