Hepatitis C Symptoms
According to the National Digestive Diseases Information Clearinghouse, hepatitis C is a virus spread through contact with an infected person's blood. This can occur from mother to fetus, from sharing needles, from blood transfusions or organ transplants prior to 1992, or in hemophiliacs who received blood products before 1987. If left untreated, hepatitis C can lead to cirrhosis, liver cancer and liver failure.-
