Seek oral or IV medication if symptoms are extreme. This treatment exists for herpes but is not recommended for people with a normal immune system. It is used only for people with weakened immune systems, infants younger than 6 weeks, or people with severe disease.

5
Apply ice to your blisters to relieve pain and swelling that may occur in conjunction with an outbreak.

Make a recipe with extra garlic added to it. Garlic works as a strong infection fighter, and can help reduce the symptoms of oral herpes outbreaks.
