Can herpes be found on hands?

Herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1), usually causes oral herpes which affects the lips and mouth area. It might sometimes cause herpetic whitlow which is typically seen as blisters (usually painful) affecting fingertips or other areas in hands.
