To prevent the lightheadedness or dizziness, Losartan users should refrain from getting up suddenly when sitting or laying down.
Blurred Vision

Some people may experience blurred vision while their bodies adjust to taking Losartan. Although it can be bothersome, the condition will usually improve after taking the drug for a while. If the blurred vision suddenly becomes worse, contact your doctor.
Diarrhea

Diarrhea is a side effect experienced by Losartan patients. The condition is no cause for concern, but if it worsens or becomes bothersome, contact your doctor.
Kidney Problems

People who have kidney disease may experience further trouble with kidney function as a result of taking Losartan. Always inform your doctor of any kidney trouble before taking Losartan. Also inform your doctor immediately if you notice swelling in the hands, ankles or feet or if you experience unexplained weight gain.
Serious Side Effects

In rare cases, people may experience side effects from Losartan that may require medical treatment. Inform your doctor immediately if you notice any of the following side effects: chest pain; dark urine; change in urine output; fast, slow or irregular heartbeat; difficulty swallowing; muscle pain or cramps; vision changes; jaundice; severe or persistent stomach pain or unusual bleeding or bruising.
