    • The ringing in your ears could be caused by a condition called Tinnitus. Tinnitus is caused by hearing loss, extremely loud noises, allergies, tumors and heart or blood vessel problems. The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders says that over 200 medicines can cause Tinnitus as well. It says to contact your doctor or pharmacist to see if Aldactone or any other medicines you may be taking could be one of them.

    • According to Medline Plus; Aldactone could cause the following side effects: vomiting, stomach pain, dry mouth, dizziness, enlarged breasts in men and women, irregular menstruation, increased hair growth, drowsiness or restlessness.

    • If you experience any of the following side effects while taking Aldactone, Medline Plus suggests contacting your doctor immediately; muscle weakness, pain or burning in the hands or feet, unusual bleeding, bruising, yellowing of skin or eyes, hives, blood in stools, decreased urination or fainting.
