Omron Hem775 Vs. Omron Hem780

The Omron Hem775 and Omron Hem780 are blood pressure monitoring devices designed for use in the home. Both perform the same functions and have the same features, though the Hem780 has one additional feature not available on the Hem775.

    • The Omron Hem775 and 780 feature Omron's IntelliSense technology, which allows the unit to inflate and deflate at the ideal level for maximum comfort. Both come with the ComFit Cuff which has a circumference designed to fit arms that measure between 9- and 17-inches around. Both devices are equipped with technology designed to detect morning hypertension and irregular heartbeats. Both units hold a memory of up to 200 readings and can accommodate up to two users. Both units come equipped to operate on either AA batteries or through an AC plug-in adapter.

    Omron Hem775

    • The Omron Hem775 was originally manufactured for sale exclusively through Costco. The unit is no longer manufactured, but parts are, and service is provided through the manufacturer.

    Omron Hem780

    • The key feature available on the Omron Hem 780 not found on the 775 is automatic averaging. The unit will automatically take three readings and provide a digital read out of the average.
