Can aids be spread through water or rivers?
No, AIDS is not spread through water or rivers.
AIDS is mainly transmitted through unprotected sexual contact with an infected person, sharing contaminated needles or syringes, and from an infected mother to her child during pregnancy, childbirth, or breastfeeding.
The virus that causes AIDS, known as HIV, can only survive for a few minutes outside the human body and is easily inactivated by heat and standard disinfecting agents. Therefore, the chances of getting infected with HIV through water or rivers are extremely low.
