Can you get HIV by putting your finger in a woman infected?

It is unlikely to get infected with HIV by simply putting your finger inside the vagina or rectum of an infected person. Although the virus is present in these bodily fluids, the transmission usually happens through direct contact of broken skin, unprotected sex, sharing contaminated needles, blood transfusions and other specific situations. The skin on our hand usually acts as an effective barrier that protects us from getting infections. However, it's worth being cautious and take proper precautions to safeguard yourself.
