What Are the Side Effects of Depo-Testerone Injections for Men?

Depo-Testosterone is an injectable form of testosterone. It is generally prescribed for men whose bodies do not naturally make enough of the hormone. Testosterone is needed for many functions, including development of male sexual organs, muscle and bone. Because of the hormone's role in sexual development, Depo-Testosterone is sometimes prescribed for boys with delayed puberty. Still, the hormone is not without its side effects.
