HGH Programs

Produced in the pituitary gland of the brain, Human Growth Hormone is a large and complex hormone made up of 191 amino acids. The source of tissue stimulation, bone strength and metabolism, Human Growth Hormone production reaches its climax during adolescence and declines with age. This decline leaves adults susceptible to diseases and bone loss.

Pharmaceutical companies have made a synthetic recombinant Human Growth Hormone (HGH) to combat such degeneration.
  1. Humatrope by Eli Lilly

    • The first of the HGH supplements, Humatrope by Eli Lilly, was introduced in 1986. Used to fight the effects of the degeneration caused by the decline in Human Growth Hormone, Humatrope is administered with a pen needle by the patient. The applicator is designed so the correct amount of the HGH supplement is injected into the blood stream. The HumatroPen is available in three strengths: 6 mg, 12 mg and 24 mg dosages allow patients flexibility in changing their prescription with a physician's help.

    Genentech Nutroprin AQ

    • Duplicating the Human Growth Hormone in 1979, Genentech has been a leader in recombinant DNA technology. With the FDA approval of its HGH replacement in 1995, Genentech now offers 10 mg HGH in liquid form in a vial or cartridge. Used to combat diseases such as Turner Syndrome, Nutroprin AQ is not prescribed for those whose bones are still growing or patients with cancer and other diseases. Nutroprin AQ must be injected at a different site on the body with each use.
