Why have i just stopped puberty halfway through. Nothing has changed for a year?

Puberty is a complex process that usually begins between 10 and 14 years of age and ends between 18 and 21. The process involves a number of changes, including:

* Growth spurt

* Development of secondary sexual characteristics, such as breasts in girls and facial hair in boys

* Changes in body composition, including increased muscle mass and decreased fat mass

* Changes in voice

* Changes in mood and behavior

There are a number of things that can cause puberty to stop halfway through, including:

* Nutritional deficiencies: A lack of certain nutrients, such as zinc, iron, and vitamin B12, can slow or stop puberty.

* Chronic diseases: Certain chronic diseases, such as diabetes, kidney disease, and thyroid disease, can delay or stop puberty.

* Medications: Some medications, such as chemotherapy drugs and corticosteroids, can affect the pituitary gland and hypothalamus, which are involved in the regulation of puberty.

* Genetic conditions: Certain genetic conditions, such as Klinefelter syndrome and Turner syndrome, can affect puberty.

If you have stopped puberty halfway through, it is important to see a doctor to rule out any underlying medical conditions. Your doctor will perform a physical exam and may order blood tests or imaging studies to determine the cause of your delayed puberty. Treatment for delayed puberty depends on the cause. In some cases, treatment may simply involve waiting for puberty to start on its own. In other cases, treatment may involve medication or surgery.
