How to Produce HGH
Human growth hormone (HGH) is the most abundant hormone produced by the pituitary gland in the brain. It is responsible for a healthy metabolism, muscle growth, energy, brain function and tissue repair. It reaches its peak during adolescence but is produced throughout life. The natural production of HGH lessens over time, peaking at around 500 micrograms a day in teenage years and declining to around 25 a day by age 80. While there is no way to increase HGH production naturally, a synthetic version is available. Always contact a doctor with any questions about HGH production and/or stimulation.Things You'll Need

1
Do your research. Companies that claim to sell HGH in pill, liquid or powder form are not selling actual HGH. HGH is only available as a prescription drug that comes in injection form. HGH is a delicate amino acid hormone that cannot be formulated into any other manner, such as a pill or a powder. In addition, pills that claim to contain HGH will be destroyed by acids in the stomach and will have no effectiveness.

2
Research supplements that improve the body's natural production of HGH. Some amino acids, such as lysine, glutamine and arginine, may increase the body's natural production of HGH. Two brand-name supplements that may be effective in increasing these amino acids include Secretagogue-1 and Sytropin.

3
Get active. The body secretes HGH after high-intensity exercise. This includes high-intensity strength training and aerobic exercise. Ask a fitness trainer to help you design a workout program that incorporates both aerobic and weight training. Exercise for around an hour most days of the week.

4
Get enough sleep. HGH is produced by the body during the deepest stages of sleep (REM sleep). This sleep often does not come until you have been asleep for several hours. If you sleep less than seven hours a night, your body may be producing less HGH. Increase your sleep and you may increase your body's natural production of HGH.

Eat a healthy diet. A diet that is high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean poultry will help balance the body's natural hormones, metabolism and energy. It may help boost the natural production of the pituitary gland.
