How to Use Estriol Cream

- Warm water
- Hand soap

Internal Use

Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water before handling the cream or the applicator. Dry your hands thoroughly on a clean towel.

Fill the applicator with the prescribed amount of estriol cream. Follow all product instructions for specific applicator directions.

Insert the applicator high into the vagina for best effectiveness. Depress the plunger on the applicator to release the medication.

Remove the applicator and wash with warm, soapy water. Do not use hot water to clean, as you can damage the applicator with water that is too hot.

Wash and dry your hands again before touching objects or another area of your body to avoid contamination.

Repeat per your doctor's instructions; number of uses can vary by patient.
Topical Use

Wash and dry hands before using the cream.

Spread 1/4 tsp. of cream onto a soft, hairless area of your body. Rub the cream into the skin until it is almost completely absorbed.

Wash and dry your hands well before touching objects or another area of your body to avoid contamination.

Follow product or doctor instructions regarding number of uses per week. Rotate the application area every two to three uses to avoid saturating that area of the skin.
