• Topical creams and gels decrease oil production and achieve temporary relief from acne symptoms. LHE, however, removes the source of acne problems and results in a long term solution. According to the website Skin Care Physicians, a recent study showed that following a four week course of LHE treatment, mild to moderate acne improved significantly. Positive effects continued up to two months following the last treatment. LHE treatment is thus a safe long-term solution to acne problems.
