What is hypertrycosis?

Hypertrichosis is excessive hair growth on the face and body, especially in women and children. It is usually caused by an underlying medical condition such as polycystic ovary syndrome, Cushing syndrome, or a tumor. It can be treated with medications, laser therapy, or electrolysis.
