How to Take AcipHex
AcipHex is also known as rabeprazole, a prescribed medicine that helps decrease acid in the stomach. Many people will experience heartburn after a meal. However, if it continues for two days or more, you may consider going to your doctor to see if you have early signs of acid reflux disease which will need to be treated. One way to help treat the disease is to take a prescribed amount of AcipHex.Instructions

1
Go to the doctor. You will need a prescription from the doctor for AcipHex, and the doctor will recommend to take one or two pills per day for up to two months.
-
2
Take one or two pills from the container. AcipHex should not be chopped up or chewed. Swallow it whole to avoid too much of the medication being released into your body at one time.
-
3
Drink water when taking the AcipHex. This will help you swallow the medication easier without trying to chew the pills. If you are prescribed to take two pills, swallow one at a time.

4
Take AcipHex the entire time the doctor prescribed. If the doctor recommended one or two pills per day, be sure to take the right amount for the entire week or two that is prescribed. If you stop taking the medication early, you could end up with the same problem within days.
